Launch ETA

Terms of Service

Last updated 22 September 2026

These terms cover your use of Launch ETA. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Launch ETA. See also our Privacy & data page.

Who can use Launch ETA

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you may use Launch ETA only with a parent or guardian's consent. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account; tell us at [email protected] if you think it's been compromised.

Acceptable use

Please don't use Launch ETA to break the law or anyone's rights. In particular, don't try to disrupt or overload the service, probe or bypass its security, scrape or bulk-download it through automated means, resell or redistribute its data, impersonate anyone, or post content that's unlawful, infringing, or abusive. We may suspend or remove accounts that do.

Content you save

You keep ownership of content you add, such as private watchlist notes. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store and display it as needed to provide the service. You're responsible for what you add, and you can remove your saved content or delete your account from Account settings.

Game information

The release catalog — titles, covers, dates, descriptions, prices — is gathered from public game listings and shown for information only. It changes often and can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong; we don't warrant its accuracy, and it isn't a substitute for a publisher's or retailer's own listing. Covers and descriptions are the property of their respective rights-holders. Links to other sites (to view or buy a game) are provided for convenience; we're not responsible for those sites.

Takedowns

If you're a rights-holder and believe something on Launch ETA infringes your rights, email [email protected] with the details and we'll review it promptly.

The service is provided "as is"

Launch ETA is a free, independent, best-effort project, provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information is accurate. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Launch ETA at any time.

Ending your use

You can stop using Launch ETA and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above changes when we do. Continuing to use Launch ETA after a change means you accept the updated terms. A material change will be surfaced to signed-in users rather than made quietly.

Where the data comes from

Release dates, artwork and descriptions are gathered from publicly available storefront listings and are the property of their respective publishers and platform holders. We present factual release information and link back to the source listing; we do not claim ownership of it.

Some release information — notably which titles exist and whether a release is a port, remaster or collection — is derived from Wikipedia's yearly video game release lists, which are available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence. Our own presentation of that information is not a substitute for the articles themselves.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be subject to the courts located there.
